Guardians The Shoma The Guardians Series Book 6 Part 1 edition by Lola StVil Paranormal Romance eBooks
I am becoming more and more upset with what I feel the writer, the publisher, and AMAZON have done with this series. Yes, I enjoy the content, HOWEVER, there is much to be desired as far as proofreading goes...the grammatical errors are COUNTLESS thus far in the entire collection!BY FAR my main issue is the COST. $4.99 for the FIRST PART of a book, hen $4.99 for the SECOND. How many parts are there in this series? I think I have already spent over $50.00...my fault, I'll admit. I feel like I am being SCAMMED because some of these "books" are what, a little over 200 pages? COME ON! That's not fair to the reader, y'all.

Guardians The Shoma The Guardians Series Book 6 Part 1 edition by Lola StVil Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
Lola StVil has done it yet again. the Guardiansan, the Akon and the lovely Emmy we have all comedy to love are back for what seems to be their hardest mission yet. to save all angles or to save a little baby seems to be the way of it. then to find the alphas and face even more challenges and even more dangers can the team come out on top?!? will our beloved team win against the odds or will a new road block be their down fall?!? some moments will take your breath away and others willl leave you wanting more!!!! a must have!!!!!
For the most part it was great. I knew from the start in the last book that it was mimi and rage. However... I really hope at some point they all get a happy ending or a ending that is worthy of tragic and tears. It's easy to get hooked on the characters but it's really annoying with the constant cliff hangers. I also do not like how dark Emerson is getting. She has no right to be that cold. Yes bad things are done to her. But she has a good heart and should know better to rise above stooping so low. I think it's getting good. Just messy. Thank you Lola for allowing my mind to wander for the five hours it took me to read this. It was amazing. Please don't think of me as being harsh. They are only opinions )
OMO!
Absolutely amazing!
This book has to be, by far, the best one of the entire series.
Emmy is finally growing into herself, and her and Marcus are finally starting to "get there".
Things still continue to get in their way, but it's not as bad. They are at the point that they can actually decide for themselves.
Like the other books, the price is just outrageous because of all the grammatical errors, but all in all I love the story.
I read a lot. Really, a lot. Lola StVil is one of my favorite authors. I have read and loved all of her Guardian series and her story is outstanding. Her ability to draw you into the story is such, I have only experienced it a few times. This story of hers belongs on the Big Screen, however I know it could not do it justice.
This last book, "The Shoma" falls short. Not because her extraordinary talent is in any way diminished, but, because of the poor editing of the finished product. The errors in word usage, substitution of words and just plain ignorance of the English Language, place this work in a very different category; difficult to read. I was able to follow the story all right, but was so annoyed it just lost a lot.
I love Lola's work and will probably pretend the series ended with book #5
The typos and errors in EVERY SINGLE BOOK are absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. When I BUY a book with my own money, I expect professionalism. The author sucks. Of course I had to buy the next book and the next book because I had to know what was going to happen in the story, but looking back, it was a complete waste of money. This author WILL NOT be getting any more of my business and money, and I hope other people will read this and not give her their money for such low-quality, unprofessional writing.
Okay, I have read all books in this series and I continue to follow it. I'm a sucker for YA Paranormal Romance and tend to read through them quickly. Being a Twilight fan, the characters in this series are a little different. The human, Emmy is very fickle and immature. I feel this is unfair to really be a critcism, as she is supposed to be a teenager and typically this is how all teenagers are. We cannot expect all YA characters to be as mature as Bella Swan. Once again, this is not a criticism, as I was once an immature, fickle teenage girl. It's just a fact. Reading this at the ripe old age of 39, I'm growing a little tired of her back and forth. Not so tired that I won't see this series through, though. Ultimately the series intrigues me enough that I will buy the next and final book in the series. Just be forewarned if you are an adult reading this series, you may quickly lose patience with some of the characters. The style of writing is a little choppy for me. At times I feel like I'm reading down a list, versus a flowing storyline. The editing isn't very polished. I'm somewhat distracted when I come upon typos and grammatical errors, but all in all I have enjoyed reading this series.
Okay here it is. I am about to start reading the final book but before I do that I have to say the following.....the first three books were phenomenal. Once I got to book four that is when s¥€t hit the fan. What happened??? In my profession I have to do a lot of proofreading therefore I can easily pick out mistakes in everything that I read whether it is the newspaper, a recipe, letters, etc. After reading book four through 6-1 I was genuinely dumbfounded. I hold high standards for authors and editors. I mean it is their job to do the same for their writings and reviews of such, is it not?????? I could not believe all the mistakes i came across. The editor did not do a job well done which is a shame because I am quite certain that others readers hold the same high standard for authors and editors. Check it is 2015 has no one ever heard of spell check? I don't k ow what went wrong but it just seemed that the editor's review was too rushed. I am sorry to say but the last few books definitely aren't needed to some editing. I almost stopped reading just for the simple fact that the errors were too discouraging. I will be reading the final book but will definitely reconsider reading anything edited by the same company who edited the last few books of this series.
