I've read a lot of new adult romance books lately, so I've seen how a lot of them are the same, or how they differ. I think anyone who reads a lot will kind of fall into that trap sometimes. We always want something similar, but... not too much, you know? To recapture that feeling that we had while reading something else, but to get a sense of more and a feeling of excitement, too.

This book is definitely that. Right from the start, the entire thing catches you. I honestly didn't expect what I was reading, but I liked it. Caught and roped in, basically, and I wanted more.

Hopelessly Broken definitely provides more, too. There's a lot going on in this book. The characters are interesting and realistic. I really enjoyed reading about Aeron especially. I don't know that I've seen any character quite like him in another book. Jenn's struggles are oftentimes something I think a lot of us can relate to, also. Maybe not exactly, but the ideas and concepts behind them, you know? I don't want to give too much away, but for a book like this to be as realistic was it was, I was impressed with how Tawny Taylor went about it.

One warning is that there's apparently another one planned for the future, so you're definitely going to want to keep an eye out for that. Hopelessly Broken is on the longer side, though, so it's definitely really satisfying on its own. I can't wait to read the second part!

Our definitions of a cliffhanger must be very different. There was a great storyline and great characters, then all the sudden you leave me with questions. My biggest question is; when will the second part of this series be out?
This is not a typical story I would buy, but it was recommended by a friend so I dove in on a lazy Sunday. The story has a nice slow build and is well written. The plot is interesting and I look forward to the next installment.
It's a good book, but you don't really learn anything from it... you don't know the inner workings of Aeron, he remains a mystery even though he's a major character in the book.
Logan is Aeron's next client, and collecting this client may kill him - because his sister has him tied up in knots
Wow!! What a great book, couldn't put it down...I had read another books by Ms. Taylor, but this one is the one I really liked the most...It had me captivated, by the 1st line of the book...I highly recommend this book..Hope the 2nd book come out soon...
This is one of those books that grabs you from the first paragraph and you know it's going to be a page-turner. I was fully invested in Jenn's story and couldn't wait to find out what happens next with Bobby and Aeron. Choices have to be made and I loved how for me it played as a mystery. And this led to an awesome ending!
OMG!! love it can't wait for the next book. Love the way Jenn take care her little brother, her dedication for him to be a happy child again. Aeron is mystirious and tied to do an "job" that he is not warm and fuzzy about, the question is will he be able to let destiny keep its course or he will risk everything to change the outcome and not fill Jenn's life with more pain,sadness and darkness? I'm so can't wait to know the answer. This is a good read, fast, easy to follow, it's a must read.
I've read Ms. Taylor's books before, but this one is really emotionally gripping, far more than I expected. It gives you just what you're looking for in new adult fiction - a strong yet vulnerable and slightly floundering heroine who is just dipping her toes into the world of romance and a connection between characters that leaves you gasping for breath! I was impressed with the writing and the story. Original and fresh, while still hitting all the perfect "NA" hot buttons! And then Ms. Taylor leaves us wanting more in a sequel... hurry up! Write faster!
